Volunteering

We thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer and we look forward to your participation at St Francis School.

For the safety and security of our students, volunteers are required to hold a Working with Children Check, and to complete the induction process. We appreciate your time in completing this criteria and assure you of our willingness to support you through this process. Once obtained, the WWCC and Volunteer Induction and Application will remain current for 5 years.  During this time we welcome and value our volunteers working with students, attending excursions and generally assisting throughout our school.

The first step in becoming a Volunteer is to complete the Response to Abuse, Harm and Neglect training via the SZApp, under the Volunteers Hub. Please ensure you make yourself familiar with our Policies and Procedures on the website.

When you have completed your RRHAN training, please present your certificate to the front office along with 100 points of original ID to begin the WWCC process. The Volunteer Application and Declaration can also be completed via the SZApp under the Volunteers Hub. When all is complete you will receive a Welcome email.

Please be assured your privacy is respected at all times.
